Maîtresses très particulières is the French Alpha France package of that same film, released in 1980 under Burd Tranbaree — i.e. Claude Bernard-Aubert. He did not sit on set with Vincent. He took Vincent’s footage, dubbed it into French with new street-argot dialogue, and cut in his own Paris exteriors so the New York swingers would look like a bourgeois couple named Didier and Estelle.
