At the age of 16, she was the sole survivor of a plane crash!

Thank you to Dorine Bourneton for sharing her story on LEGEND Story. At 16, Dorine was the only survivor of a plane crash. Severely injured, she permanently lost the use of her legs. Yet, this tragedy did nothing to dampen her determination; years later, she became the world’s first paraplegic female aerobatic pilot. Her commitment went even further: after a long legal battle, she succeeded in changing French regulations, opening up access to professional pilot licenses for people with disabilities.
